Students of NIFD Vadodara celebrated Janmashtami with great enthusiasm
- Traditionally dressed students performed dances, skits, and Matki Phod on the theme of Krishna Janmotsav at their center
- Dramatization focusing on the divine prophecy of Lord Krishna’s birth and its miraculous fulfillment was the highlight of the celebration
Keeping the tradition alive, NIFD, one of the premier fashion institutes in Vadodara, celebrated Janmashtami with great fervor at its center. Traditionally dressed students, mostly girls, performed dances, skits, and Matki Phod on the theme of Krishna Janmashtami at the center.
The celebration started with Matki Phod, where traditionally dressed students danced to the tunes of Lord Krishna’s songs. Then, a girl broke the Matki, spreading the positive message of women’s equality.
This year, the theme was “Krishna Janmotsav,” where students presented a dramatization focusing on the divine prophecy of Lord Krishna’s birth and its miraculous fulfillment. The drama was the highlight of all the celebrations. The event ended with aarti and bhog distribution.
