Police complaint registered against seven including saints over beating a sevak at Sokhada Swaminarayan temple
A police complaint was finally registered in the case of beating Sevak Anuj Chauhan by saints in Sokhada Swaminarayan temple of Vadodara. Taluka police filed a case against 7 persons including saints and further investigating.
Anuj Chauhan, a sevak working in the account department at Sokhada Swaminarayan temple in Vadodara, was beaten by saints on 6th January and the video of the same was circulated on social media. Anuj and his father appeared before the taluka police and gives a complaint and was untraceble. However on Tuesday both appeared before the police and give their statements. They demand strict action as per rules against the accused and expressed satisfaction with the police action. Anuj said, there are two groups in the temple and the beating was by the rival group as he supports Prabodh Swami.
The taluka police has registered a case against saints Prabhupriya Swami, Harismaran Swami, Bhakti Vallabh Swami, Swamiswaroop Swami, Hiral Swami, Pranav Asoj and Manahar Sokhdawala in connection with Anuj’s application.
“The complainant reached the spot after heard some shouting and that time Pranav and Manohar abused and asked him to go back. Meanwhile they grew suspicious about Anuj shoot the fight in his mobile and the other saints too joined and engage in fight and beating. It seems as cognizable offence and we filed an offense under section 143,147,149,323,294 (b) against them,” said

વડોદરા શહેરના તરસાલી બાયપાસ નજીક 40 વર્ષ પૂર્વે ગુજરાત રાજ્ય ગ્રામ્ય ગૃહ નિર્માણ બોર્ડ દ્વારા હિંમતનગરમાં બનાવવામાં આવેલ અને જર્જરિત બનેલ મકાનોના સ્લેબ તૂટવાનો સિલસિલો યથાવત જોવા મળ્યો હતો
શનિવારે સવારે તરસાલી વિસ્તાર ના હિમ્મતનગર માં એક સાથે બીજા અને પહેલા માળ નો સ્લેબ ધરસાઈ. થયો હતો.તરસાલી વિસ્તારમાં ગુજરાત રાજ્ય ગ્રામ્ય ગૃહ નિર્માણ બોર્ડ દ્વારા 40 વર્ષ પૂર્વે 26 બ્લોક માં 456 મકાનો બનાવવામાં આવ્યા હતા પરંતુ જે તે વખતે કરવામાં આવેલી કામગીરી માં હલકી કક્ષા ના રેતી સિમેન્ટ સહિતની ચીજ વસ્તુઓનો ઉપયોગ થતા ગણતરીના વર્ષોમાં જ હિંમતનગરમાં બનાવવામાં આવેલા મકાન જર્જરિત બન્યા હતા અને મકાનોના સ્લેબ તેમજ પોપડા ફરવાની શરૂઆત થઈ હતી.
40 વર્ષ પૂર્વે બાંધવામાં આવેલ હિંમતનગરની ઇમારતો માં અત્યાર સુધી 10 જેટલા મકાનોની છત તૂટી પડી છે. જે અંગે મકાનમાં રહેનાર લોકો દ્વારા કોર્પોરેશન અને સરકાર માં અનેક રજુઆત છતાં કરવામાં આવી હતી તેમ છતાં આજ દિન સુધી ઇમારતનો સમારકામ કે ઇમારતો તોડી નવી ઈમારત બનાવવાની દિશામાં સરકાર દ્વારા કોઈ જાતની કામગીરી નહીં કરાતા મકાનમાં રહેનારા લોકો જર્જરીત મકાનમાં રહેવા મજબૂર બન્યા છે જ્યાબશનિવારે સવારે વધુ એક મકાન સ્લેબ ધરાશાહી થયો હતો.
શનિવારે વહેલી સવારે હિંમતનગરના મકાનના બીજા માળનો સ્લેબ તૂટ્યો હતો અને જે સ્ટેપનો કાટમાળ મકાનના પ્રથમ માળે પડતા મકાનના પ્રથમ માળનો સ્લેપ ધરાસાઈ થયો હતો ગુજરાત રાજ્ય ગ્રામ્ય ગૃહ નિર્માણ બોર્ડ દ્વારા બનાવવામાં આવેલા તમામ મકાનો જજ રીત બન્યા છે અને જે મકાનો નીચત અને પોપડા કરી રહ્યા છે જેને લઇ જેની પાસે વૈકલ્પિક વ્યવસ્થા છે તે લોકો અન્ય સ્થળે રહેવા પહોંચી ગયા છે જ્યારે જે લોકો પાસે વૈકલ્પિક વ્યવસ્થા નથી તે લોકો જર્ધરિત મકાનમાં જ રહેવા મજબૂત છે જ્યારે વહીવટી તંત્રએ ઝર્ઝરીત બનેલ મકાન વિશે વિચારવાની જરૂર છે
