Famous Bollywood Singer, musician and daughter of legendary Gulshan Kumar is all praise for Vadodara during her first visit to Gujarat. She found the city peaceful, beautiful and people creative and wish to work on Gujarati folk music in future. She recently work in Himachali folk which is widely accepted by audience.

The singer with many hits in her name visits Parul University to promote her recently released song “Jo mujhe deewana kar de”. The song has already gained a lot of YouTube views and has become a trend on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram. She interacted with the PU students and shared her life journey to inspire students.

Tulsi Kumar gave her candid views on various topics. On being asked who her role model is, she replied, “Since | was 6 years old, I wanted to join the music industry just like her father, Gulshan Kumar, and he is my idol, because he started from scratch and made an empire, and i idolize that man the most.” Another student asked how her journey has been in the music industry, to which she replied; “I had to go through ups and downs, i lost my father at the age of 10 but i was determined to make his dream of my being a singer come true.

During media interaction she said, I am growing with my songs and all the work I am getting is through my own credit. During Covid time we get chance to connect with ourselves and produce music to entertain people who are stuck inside their homes.
I am also associated with many social causes like women empowerment, girl child education and always try that women support each other for their upliftment.

She added, Inde music is growing leaps and bounds and there are many platforms for the artists to showcase their creative freedom. Audience are also consuming such music. On recreation of song she said, it is a sensitive topic and need to handle with care. We present the songs with equal melody which appeals the audience.
