CHARUSAT’s Alumni Rutu Ataliya handling Global level Cyber Security attacks in USA for Amazon SUB Rutu Ataliya was awarded with 36,000 US Dollars Scholarship along with Paid Graduate Assistantship by University of Maryland College Park to pursue Masters in Cyber Security

World’s renowned Charotar University of Science and Technology (CHARUSAT)’s Alumni Rutu Vijaysinh Ataliya has been working as a Cyber Security Engineer for Amazon (AWS Security) in Virginia, USA since the past 2.5 years. Rutu Ataliya, currently based in Virginia, USA was awarded with 36,000 US Dollars Scholarship along with paid Graduate Assistantship by University of Maryland College Park, USA during the years of 2018-2020. By contributing her impeccable skills and services at Amazon and handling world class Security attacks, Rutu Ataliya has built a sense of pride for CHARUSAT University and has made the university proud all across the globe.

During her recent Visit to India in February 2022, she was invited as a guest speaker to conduct an expert session for more than 200 students on the subject of “Cyber Security Scope, Current Trends and Future”. The session was a huge success and it helped a lot of new undergraduate and graduate students to kick start their journey in cyber security.


Rutu Ataliya has mentioned that it was an honor to be invited by the CHARUSAT University to conduct this session where she can share her knowledge on the subject of cyber security, while spreading awareness regarding its importance, the technology and its trends and motivate the students to embark their journey in the vast field of cyber security.

During this session she was able to provide meticulous answers to brilliant questions asked by curious CHARUSAT Students. She is highly grateful towards Principal Dr. Amit Ganatra and Prof. Jesal Desai for inviting her as a Guest speaker. It was an honorable experience for her to give back to her Alma mater and guide the students to shape their future.

Rutu Ataliya has earned her bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Gujarat Technological University. She was awarded with a Gold Medal for securing first rank among 35,000 students all across the state of Gujarat. During the years of 2013-2015, She earned her Masters Degree in Computer Engineering from CHARUSAT University, with a Gold Medal by securing first rank in her entire branch. Following that, she provided her services as an Assistant Professor at CHARUSAT University, CSPIT during 2015-2017. During her tenure she conducted lectures and lab sessions which were highly focused on Cryptography and Network Security, Cloud Security, Design and Analysis of Algorithms.
Her passion for cyber security compelled her to pursue a second masters degree specializing in cyber security from the US.

While working as an assistant professor at CHARUSAT she started intense preparation for highly competitive entrance exams GRE and IELTS as a first step to fulfill her dreams. She scored excellent scores and due to her strong educational background and professional grade research projects, she was granted a full scholarship worth $36,000 to pursue her masters in Cyber Security from the University of Maryland, College Park. While pursuing her masters from University of Maryland, she participated in a paid internship program with CISCO and became a contributing member of Firewall Security and Security Operations Team.

After earning her graduate degree, Rutu Ataliya joined Amazon (AWS Security) in February of 2020 as a Cyber Security Engineer. She is effectively handling severe cyber security attacks and performing incident response, digital forensics, reverse engineering, malware analysis, threat detection and protecting Amazon infrastructure on a daily basis.

Rutu Ataliya has expressed huge gratitude to CHARUSAT as it has provided her a strong foundation to reach this higher level of success and realize her dreams as an excellent cyber security engineer. Along with the exceptional curriculum and course work, the detailed lab sessions and highly knowledgeable faculties, the support from Charusat has played an important role in her success.

In her own words – ” CHARUSAT has played a very integral role in motivating me and providing me with all that is required for me to achieve my goals and success as a cyber security engineer. CHARUSAT has and will provide all its students with a great platform and guide them to discover their passion and help them shape a successful professional life ” – claims Rutu Ataliya.

She recently represented Amazon at the International Women in Cyber Security Conference, 2021-2022. Rutu Ataliya claims that the role that CHARUSAT has played in her professional journey has been highly crucial and that she would always be thankful and feel proud of being associated with the organization.

બહુચરાજી રોડ પર પડ્યો ભુવો: પાલીકા પાસે સમારકામનો સમય નથી

વડોદરા શહેર ના કારેલીબાગ માં આવેલ ૐ શાંતિ ભવન, બહુચરાજી નગર પાસે વધુ એક પડ્યો છે પરંતુ કોર્પોરેશન દ્વારા તેનું સમારકામ કરવામાં આવતું નથી.


વડોદરા શહેરમાં થતા વિકાસના કામોમાં પાણી ડ્રેનેજની લાઈનો નાખ્યા બાદ યોગ્ય રીતે માટીપુરાણ નહીં થતાં અવારનવાર ભુવા પડદા હોવાની ફરિયાદો વધી છે ખાસ કરીને ભૂવા ચોમાસા દરમિયાન પડદા હોય છે પરંતુ કારેલીબાગ વિસ્તારમાં ઉનાળામાં ભૂવા પડતાં લોકોમાં અચરજ ફેલાયું છે.

વડોદરા શહેરમાં પાણી ડ્રેનેજ લાઈન કામગીરી બાદ કોન્ટ્રાક્ટર દ્વારા થતી હલકી કક્ષાની કામગીરીની પડવાને કારણે પોલ ખુલ્લી પડતી હોય છે પરંતુ કોર્પોરેશનનું તંત્ર જવાબદાર કોન્ટ્રાક્ટરો સામે કોઇ કાર્યવાહી કરતું નથી જેથી લોકોને હેરાનગતિ થતી હોય છે.


અંગે શિવસેનાના અગ્રણી તેજસ બ્રહ્મભટ્ટે કોર્પોરેશનના તંત્રનોની આકરી ટીકા કરી ભૂવો પુરાણ કરાવવાની માંગણી કરી છે સાથે સાથે તેમણે આક્ષેપ કર્યો છે કે સ્માર્ટ સિટી વડોદરામાં કોર્પોરેશનના ઇજનેરો અને ઇજારદારોની મીલીભગત ને કારણે કોર્પોરેશનને આર્થિક નુકસાન થઈ રહ્યું છે એટલું જ નહીં લોકો પણ હેરાનગતિ ભોગવી રહ્યા છે.
